Textiles and fashion enthusiasts from 7 years of age upwards may receive a sketch notebook from the KARO visitors\u2019 service with interesting information and lots of space for your own designs. Colouring-in prints are also available for younger children.<\/p>\n<p>It is our wish to open up the exciting world of textiles to children and youngsters and to organise special workshops and guided tours on a range of topics. This year, for example, we invite you to visit Empa, the materials\u2019 research institute. Here \u2013 mostly behind closed doors \u2013 new fabrics and their application for use in clothing, sports, cars and the like, are analysed.
