The Textile Museum lies in a zone with reduced traffic very close to the historical city centre and the Abbey district. Just a few minutes’ walk from the station, it is easily reached on foot or by rail and bus.
When travelling by car, it is recommended to find a car park in the city centre. Up-to-date information on parking facilities can be found here.

Barrier-free access

Unfortunately, the historical museum built in 1886 is barrier-free only to a limited extent. However, it is very important to us to make the visit to an exhibition as comfortable as possible for people with special needs. Please contact our visitor service prior to your visit. Detailed information concerning our facilities can be found at Procap-Zugangsmonitor. You will find parking facilities in the courtyard of the textile museum.
