VISION Summer 2021

Selected textiles from the latest collections of Swiss textile manufacturers are now on display in the lounge of the Textile Museum. A presentation by SwissTextiles, which is dedicated to textile innovations in the field of medical technology, complements the Vision Spring Summer 2021.

The signals are set on red – understanding sustainability holistically: The latest collections from Swiss textile manufacturers will be on display in the lounge of the Textile Museum from 21 May. The exhibition “Visions Spring Summer 2021” shows an interpretation of the colour red and its nuances on the subject of “Man and monochrome”. At the same time, we will be showing a travelling exhibition by Swiss Textiles on the latest developments in the field of medical technology and the health masks that are so important at the moment. In this way, textiles turn out to be the material of the future. The signals are red because sustainability should be understood holistically. The exhibition will therefore also show the developments and use of textiles for architecture, medicine, sports, and mobility.
